NAACP Branches are 501(c)4 organizations so contributions to the Branches are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for Federal Income Tax purposes. Organizations that support Branches in their fundraising activities are able to deduct the entire contribution as an ordinary business expense, which can be designated as advertising or promotional.
2015 Mother of the Year Fund
Contributions to this fund will be used for the mandatory annual assessment the branch must pay in order to participate in the state-wide elections of the . This assessment supports, among other things, the fantastic staff in the state office. They have mobilized and inspired people all over the state–including several new branches here in WNC. Their work makes our work possible.
